ANTI-OPPRESSION AND INCLUSION
At Stage West our Management team is committed to cultivating a safe space to create, perform, and work.
We are dedicated to consistently increasing diversity and inclusion in all roles throughout our theatre, as well as in the selection of the stories we present each
season. We embrace and welcome all artists part of racialized communities, the LGBTQIA2s+ community, as well as all people with disabilities and accessibility needs, in addition to any other visible or non-visible minority communities. We understand and acknowledge the importance of creating visibility in our work that
highlights the diversity of our own community. We openly welcome and encourage all into the audition and application process by posting all employment and engagement opportunities publicly on our website, via CAEA, and Casting Workbook, and will continue to find new ways to remove boundaries and discriminatory practices in the inclusive casting process.
Over the course of each season, we prioritize the creation of a well-balanced company
of professional Artists and sta who maintain and uphold our commitment to a diverse and inclusive safe space.
